💬 Lesson Description

This is the final episode of my series on improvising jazz guitar chord melodies.

So far, we've covered minor 7, dominant 7, and major 7 chords.

In this lesson, we combine all that knowledge to improvise jazz guitar chord melodies over ii-V-I progressions.

The ii-V-I is the most common chord progression in jazz, and being able to improvise over it will allow you to play many tunes.

In the video, I provide a helpful exercise for getting comfortable with switching between chord types.

I also demonstrate how the end result of all this practice sounds by improvising over a classic jazz standard.
