My name is Jared Borkowski and I've been teaching since 2003. Throughout this time I've been refining an approach for learning the guitar that I've seen induce rapid progress for students of all ages leading to incredible results.
I've played and composed professionally in a wide variety of settings including with artists such as Stewart Copeland of The Police, Macklemore, and Ben Smith of Heart.
I spent years deeply studying classical guitar, jazz improvisation, and composition with amazing teachers to get a firm grasp on how music works on the guitar and I'm excited to share that knowledge with you!
Sadly, I had to turn new private students away for many years because of my teaching schedule being completely full. It was disappointing not being able to help everyone who came to me looking for lessons so I decided to take my teaching online where I can share it with more people (like you!).
